Creating Memories From The Heart For The Heart
An intimate bonding of two hearts.
You chose to elope & this will be a special time in your life’s journey that should be just about you & your partner sharing your vows of love. For some, it may be too stressful to plan a traditional wedding with hundreds of guests, venues, and music. For others, a big wedding just doesn’t feel right. Let me help you find that perfect location at sunrise or sunset with only the two of you, the wedding officiant, a witness & myself photographing your once-in-a-lifetime bonding of two souls in love. Picture this, at sunrise, the sky starts to glow orange, golden yellows & blues, this will be your backdrop as you & your lover walk hand in hand on a white sandy beach, with the gentle wave washing over your feet, you both stop & gaze deeply into each other’s eyes & kiss for the first time as husband & wife. That is the experience I want for you on your sunrise elopement session.
I’ve been photographing sunrise & sunset as a hobby for the past 12 years. I’ve found secret sunrise locations, as well as many of the more popular locations behind The Kahala Resort on the east side of Honolulu, behind The Ilikai Hotel or The Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki. These last two locations are perfect for either sunrise or sunset. On the island of Oahu, Hawaii, we are surrounded by the ocean with so many beautiful beaches, but if a beach elopement is not for you, there are many short hiking trails with the lush green forest as a backdrop. Let me be your guide to these amazing beautiful spots on Oahu.
One of the many reasons why you chose to elope is to keep the cost down, which is very understandable, especially with the economy as it is today. A Honolulu elopement photographer should be at the top of your list to capture these memories & moments for you to reminisce 5, 15, or 20 years down the road. You’ll not regret hiring me for your elopement!
I can tell you your elopement ceremony will happen so quickly, let me be there to capture the celebration & emotions of your marriage, the joining of two hearts into pictures that you can share with your friends, family & your future children.
Why have a professional Oahu elopement photographer? Yes, your friend can take pictures with his/her iPhone or Android phone, but as a professional, I have the experience of capturing the emotions, the tears of joy & seeing the precious moments of two people bonding to start a life together. A digital camera will also give you better-quality images.
For the first 20 minutes upon arrival prior to the ceremony, I’ll take you & your partner to capture some stunning early morning sunrise colors. In the second 20 minutes, we’ll create memories of the ceremony & finally, the last 20 minutes will capture you as husband & wife walking hand in hand, surrounded by the beauty of the first day together as a married couple.
Aloha & a hui hou
How do I start the conversation about an elopement photo session?
Two ways to contact me are through email or by calling. A minimum of four weeks prior notice is required to book your date. This allows time for preparation, communication, and any necessary adjustments that may need to be made. This ensures that the Oahu photo session can be scheduled in a timely manner and that all parties involved are aware of the timeline.
Are you looking for the perfect package that fits your needs?
You’ll find three different pricing packages to choose from, each tailored to meet your specific needs & budget, see which package is right for you!
Where can I do my photo session?
Oahu is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and its east side is no exception, especially during sunrise. On the island of Oahu, there’s something for everyone. Ala Moana Beach, Makapu’u, and Kakaako Waterfront are three very popular locations.
Is dressing casually for my elopement photo session okay?
Elopement photos are a great way to commemorate the start of your journey together as a couple. The wardrobe you choose for the shoot can set the tone and mood of the photos, so it’s important to pick something you both feel comfortable in. Whether you dress up to the nines or keep it casual in shorts and an Aloha shirt, that said, there’s no right or wrong wardrobe for an engagement photo session.
What can I expect after my photo session?
When it comes to professional Honolulu photography, getting the right package is essential. With my standard editing package, you can get from 20 & up to 70 pictures depending on which package you choose. Also included in all my sessions is my standard editing package, in which I will do color correction, contrast, and exposure adjustments that will help you make your photos look their best.
