I’ve worked with a lot of models looking to start or update their portfolios. I’ve always found it a two-way street where I’ve learned many posing techniques from the models I photographed & in turn, taught them about good lighting & how to take advantage of that light. So when it comes to posing, don’t worry I got your back! That said, I’m not looking for too many “posed” pictures with you, I want to capture you & your personality with this environmental portrait session.

EARLY MORNING SUNRISE PORTRAIT SESSION ON THE EAST SIDE OF OAHU.

Similar to a couples session, I need to know a few things, what are you expecting from this photo session & why you’re doing it? Is it an important time in your life that you want to see yourself at this stage in your life? Have you accomplished something that has changed your life, or could it be as simple as just wanting pictures to rediscover yourself? I have photographed people & friends who have gone or going through depression or are cancer survivors.

Iphones & Android phones are great for taking quick snapshots, but a professional photographer can capture your personality & moments, but most of all seeing you at your best! I can help you with posing in a flattering way & with the help of a flash, if needed, I can add depth & dimension to all your portraits.

In our first conversation, I want to know why you want to do this & what you expect from this photoshoot, this will set the atmosphere for the photo session going forward & will give me a better vision of how to proceed. I want to make this photo session comfortable for you & most of all, fun!

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I schedule my photo session?

Booking four weeks in advance ensures that the photo session can be scheduled in a timely manner, and please keep in mind that the weekends are my busiest days. The more time you schedule your photo session, the better chance you’ll get your desired date.

How much time do I have during a photo session?

I have three packages for my couple’s photo session, 45 minutes, 60 minutes & 90 minutes, prices will vary on which package you choose. Ask for Kamaaina rates.

I don’t know any good locations for a photo session. Can you help?

Of course, on my days off, I chase the sunrise looking for that perfect sunrise picture! I know of many perfect locations to have your photo session.

What kind of editing can I expect?

I shoot in a RAW format on my camera, which allows me to create my own personal creative-styled edits for you. My standard editing includes color correction, contrast & exposure adjustments.

How long will it take to get my final edited pictures?

I know you’re excited to see your pictures, so I’ll get them to you in 5-7 days.

How do I pay you?

I accept Paypal, Venmo, or cash.

What can I do with the pictures you deliver to me?

You can use all images that I deliver to you for your personal use on your website or to share on any social media.
