They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so starting a life together with couples photo session should be next on your calendar. I enjoy capturing the love & emotions of a couple on a deserted stretch of sand at sunrise! The sounds of the gentle waves washing on shore and the wind blowing the fresh ocean air are so invigorating & calming. This is what I hope to bring to your couples’ photo shoot! My top priority for your session is to keep it light & fun for everyone!

We don’t know how to pose, it’s our first time taking pictures by a professional, these are the very first words I hear at the start of every photo shoot, individuals or couples. Don’t worry, I got you! I’ve been posing people for the last 12 years, follow my prompts & we’ll get some amazing fun pictures that I promise you’ll absolutely love! All you have to do is enjoy the moment!

Shhhhh, I have secret sunrise spots I’ve found while exploring locations to capture a colorful sunrise image or two for myself.

Iphones & Android phones are great for taking quick snapshots, but a professional Oahu photographer can capture your personality & moments, but most of all seeing you at your best! I can help you with posing in a flattering way & with the help of a flash, if needed, I can add depth & dimension to all your portrait images.

For engagement & elopement photo shoots, please, if possible, plan to schedule your photo shoot a minimum of 4 weeks in advance.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much advance notice do I need to schedule a couples portrait photo session?

I prefer four weeks’ notice prior to your Hawaii photo session, but depending on my scheduling & if I do have a date open, at minimum two weeks.

What should I wear?

For many of you, this will be the first time in front of a professional photographer’s camera lens & your anxiety levels will be high, so my advice to you is to wear something comfortable.

I don’t know how to pose.

Don’t worry, I have your back! I’ve been posing for Oahu models & couples for 12 years. I want your experience to be stress-free & most of all, fun!

How long will I photograph your couple’s portrait session?

Depending on what photography package you choose, 45, 60, or 90 minutes. Prices will reflect which package is right for you.

What’s included in your session?

Depending on which package you choose the number of photos will vary from 20-30 photos, 40-50 photos & 60-70 photos. See my PRICING package page for more details. All final edited photos will be delivered in a low-resolution jpeg & a high-resolution jpeg suitable for printing.

Do I edit the pictures?

Yes, all pictures will be edited with my standard color correction, contrast & exposure adjustments. I personally edit all of my pictures & do not outsource any images to a third party.

When will I receive my final edited pictures?

Your final edited photos will be available within 5-7 days in a private DropBox folder. Your pictures will be available to download for 30 days.

How do I pay you?

I do accept PayPal, Venmo, or cash. A non-refundable deposit of 50% must be made once a date & time has been set up to do your photo session.

What can I do with the pictures you deliver to me?

You can use all images I deliver to you for your personal use on your website or to share on any social media platform, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter…As the photographer, I hold all copyrights to the pictures I provide you.
